Probably the very best diving I have had in False Bay, Cape Town. Whittle Rock is an expansive offshore reef complex that rises from a 42m deep sandy seafloor to within 4m of the water surface in a series on peaks and valleys, pinacles and canyons. Extensively covered with seafans and featherstars and a variety of incredible benthic life, Whittle on a good day is a diver's paradise. Here a sinous seafan stands front and central to one of the complex pinnacles and two scuba divers silhouetted in clear oceanic blue water.
