"Anemone Bunch" showcases red False Plum sea anemones (Pseudactina) amongst kelp holdfasts in False Bay, Cape Town. The reef refugia provided by kelp in these systems is enormous. The image kinda makes me think of a bunch of "things" lurking amongst the kelp, ready to close on and catch any passing prey in a sort of menacing beauty. Shallow kelp bed, False Bay, Cape Town.
