"Jungle Wall" shows the intense colours of a kelp-forest reef wall in False Bay, Cape Town. While competition for space is easily visible in such an image, out-competing each other in terms of colour seems to be a thing for these invertebrate species - contrasts of oranges, yellows, reds and blue. This is a particular reef that I call the Wondrous Wall that features prominently in my kelp forest images. It and its sea anemeones, urchins, sponges and other colourful species are awesome to photograph in terms of both light and colour.
