Elegant Feather
"Elegant feather" portrays an elegant featherstar (yup thats its name!) on a kelp forest reef wall in False Bay, Cape Town, a species that is often found alone on shallow reefs, though it gathers in larger numbers on deeper ones. Ten feathered arms filter the water column for plankton prey brough in by currents and wave action.
