Colour Splash
"Colour Splash" showcases False Plum sea anemones and Parechinus urchins against a bright orange backdrop on a kelp forest reef wall of False Bay, Cape Town. It epitomises to me the colours and fragility of these reef microcosms on one hand and their resilience on the other. The False Plum Anemone that is front and central in ""Colour Splash" is often orange, yellow, or red with mauve tentacles and is a species that can grow to 20cm in diameter.
